Elected to full membership of the New England Poetry Club
I was elected to full membership of The New England Poetry Club as of June 2013. Amy Lowell, Robert Frost and Conrad Aiken founded the NEPC in 1915. The Club sponsors the oldest poetry reading series in the United States.
“Handle” from the “Straight-Angled-Crossed-Warped” series was a winner, and “Apple and Serpents” from the “Cloth curves” series was a runner-up in a competition conducted by Creative Quarterly, The Journal of Art & Design.
“Handle” the winning entry will be published in Creative Quarterly 29 due out in Winter 2012. “Apple and Serpents” the runner-up entry will be reproduced online in Winter 2012 coinciding with the publication of CQ29.
