Sea Horseoid from Fluidity of Attraction series at the Alexandria Museum of Art’s 29th, Open, September Competition Exhibition, in Alexandria, LA, September 2nd to November 19th, 2016. Opening reception, September 2nd.

Sea Horseoid is from my latest series, Fluidity of Attraction. The series highlights the ephemeral nature of attraction, and is unique because it represents a rare confluence of subject matter, artistic elements, and medium. Read more about this series on my Art Page.

The piece was selected for the 29th September Competition, an annual exhibition highlighting contemporary art practices in all media, organized by the Alexandria Museum of Art. This open competition attracted both national and international entries. The juror Francis Pavy, is an artist based in Lafayette, LA who works in different media, and draws inspiration from his Cajun heritage, and the Southern story-telling tradition.

The exhibition is from September 2nd to November 19th, 2016 at the Alexandria Museum of Art, 933 Second Street, Alexandria, LA. The opening reception is on September 2nd from 6 – 8pm.
