Glass Box

Colors and patterns spring forth when sunlight streams through a sculpted glass box. Sometimes, at the edges of my art work, I leave a small blemish or a slightly irregular border as is, I do not correct it to create a "perfect" picture. The only judge here is my eye. If I see that the blemish does not diminish the picture, I leave it in place. I strive for perfection, but I do not allow perfection to get in the way of creating art. A paradigm for life would you not agree? "Blue Taurus" was admitted to the juried 2013 Fall Members' Show: The Sound of Color conducted by the Copley Society of Art. "Mask" was exhibited in a juried show at Symphony Hall, Boston in 2013, and matched with the movement "The Gnome'" during Boston Symphony Orchestra's performance of Modest Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition” at Symphony Hall on April 12th. "Chain and squares" was exhibited in 2012 at the Gallery 601 solo exhibition.
